The images displayed on our product pages are intended as representative examples of the product group and are for illustrative purposes only. Your recipient will receive a like-valued product or products from the category and price group you select that may be entirely different than any of the images displayed. This allows us to meet your needs and intentions with current seasonal inventories and prevents duplication of gifts to your recipient(s) from year to year.
Our intent here is to give you a good idea of what type of gift you could expect when selecting a particular category and price range. It is NOT our intent to present specific gifts for selection.
Rest assured that the gift or arrangement your recipient receives will be of the same value as the price range you select, and are charged. We guarantee it!
Prices Displayed:
All prices are shown in US dollars. The actual cost of the gift or arrangement can be anywhere within the price range selected by the customer. if you selected a price range of $49.95 - $59.95 you will see a charge on your credit card that can be anywhere in-between $49.95 and $59.95. (You might be charged $56.86, for example) GiftCommander.com reserves the right to adjust price group products or prices from time to time to adjust to seasonal fluctuations in prices or inflation.
Taxes:
We must charge sales tax of 6.00% for orders delivered to a recipient in the state of Florida.
Pricing:
Price group prices shown above product images include our shipping and service fees, but do not include tax, if applicable.
Credit Card on File
Authorize.net will retain your credit card on file in order to fulfill your recurring gift sending instructions. We will attempt to automatically debit the credit card on file via Authorize.net approximately 10 days in advance of the gift event(s) in order to ensure gift delivery to your recipient on-time.
In the event that your credit card is declined, we will immediately send you an e-mail notifying you that it was declined, and include a link to your account information so you may log into the system to update or change the credit card data. We will attempt to process the transaction for 3 consecutive days. After this 3 day correction period, we will no longer attempt to process that transaction and that specific gift event will be skipped. You will be notified via e-mail and text message of the failed transaction.
We will try to process the next gift event 10 days before the event date, and the cycle will repeat.
Delivery Dates:
Delivery of your gift will be attempted on or before the event date. Many florists and delivery companies (like FedEx or UPS) do not deliver on weekends or holidays. In the circumstance that the event date falls upon a weekend or non-working holiday (like Christmas) delivery may be attempted the last business day before the event date.
Gifts Containing Alcohol -- Adult Signature Required:
Some of our gift items include alcohol, in the form of wine or other spirits. If you order a gift which includes alcohol, the delivery company will REQUIRE that an adult over the age of 21 sign for the package. They will not leave it, nor will they honor any written requests to do so.
Times and Delivery Instructions:
Delivery will be attempted on the date and time requested, however, circumstances may require that items be delivered outside of the requested window. Specific instructions users provide in the "Special Instructions" field of the Event Manager will be complied with to the best of our ability. We reserve the right, however, to process the transaction at our discretion without regard to the special instructions.
Gift or Event Cancellation:
If you wish to cancel a single gift event, you must do so by either making the recipient “inactive” in the Recipient Editor, or by deleting the event from the Event Editor a minimum of 12 days before the gift event. After 12 days before the event, the ordering cycle has been initiated and cannot be canceled or refunded.
The same logic is true for changing gift details or recipient details. Changes made after 12 days before the gift event will not be processed for that event.
Service Cancellation:
In order to stop or cancel your entire service, you need to either make all of you recipients "inactive" or delete all of your gift events.
P.O. Boxes
We are unable to deliver flowers or gifts to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. addresses.
If No One is Home
Depending on the delivery location, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery.
Incorrect Addresses
GiftCommander.com is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer. If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.
Card Messages:
The message that you write in the Card Message field is the message that is sent with the gift. We do not include any billing information with your order.
Recipient May Be Contacted
In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure he or she will be home to accept the delivery.
Request To Leave Item at Door
The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We highly discourage special instructions requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, yard or any location where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves. GiftCommander.com cannot be held responsible for missing, damaged or faulty product due to this special request.
Recipient Refusal of Delivery
No refunds will be given if the recipient refuses to accept the delivery.
Mother's Day, Fathers Day, Holiday or Weekend Delivery Policy
Floral deliveries are available in most cities on Saturday and Sunday in the USA. If we are unable to make your Sunday or holiday delivery and time permits, we will deliver the gift on Saturday. If both Saturday and Sunday are not available in the recipient area, then we will deliver on the preceding Friday.
Rural Routes and Remote Locations
We occasionally have trouble delivering to some rural routes and will contact you if service is unavailable. In some cases, delivery to such rural areas is available for an additional fee; we will contact you if such a situation arises.
Specific Times
We are unable to guarantee delivery at a specific time, but we are normally able to deliver within a time frame of a few hours. Please include your requested time frame in the special instruction box when ordering. Our normal delivery times are 9am-5pm daily for orders going to a business, 6pm for orders to a residence.
Dissatisfaction with service or product:
We strive to provide the best service and products possible. However, one should realize that in order to deliver flowers and gifts all over the country, we employ a network of thousands of florists and suppliers. While every possible effort has been taken to ensure the quality of these vendors, we understand that occasionally a product may not meet expectations. If this should occur, please contact us immediately and we will deal with the situation promptly and directly.
Privacy, No SPAM and Security Policies
We will not sell, rent, or trade your personally identifiable information with/to any third party. We take every precaution to protect your information both online and off-line via encryption software and other security practices.
Canceling your Account
You can cancel at any time. Your events will be stopped and your account and reminder information will be permanently deleted. There is no cancellation charge nor penalty.
